Our Team At The Event

Jennifer Kennedy

A result driven Account Manager with extensive experience in the optical industry, specialising in Key Account Management and Myopia Management. A strong background in managing key customers, Jen is passionate about innovation, strategy and building lasting relationships. She focuses on creating impactful strategic plans to address the needs of both partners and end consumers, contributing to improving people's vision.

Neil Harvey FBDO CL FBCLA

Neil qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 1985 and started working with contact lenses in his pre-registration year, beginning the ABDO contact lens course. He started educational presenting in 1988 whilst working for an independent group of practices. Neil has managed independent and multiple opticians at both practice and regional levels as well as having gained qualifications in sports psychology which help to encourage and challenge thinking and change in behaviours. Neil worked in sales with Bausch & Lomb in the late 1980s and in Professional Affairs with Ciba Vision and then Alcon from 2011 to 2021. Most recently Neil received the BCLA Certificate in Dry Eye Management and Contact Lens Retention, Certificate in The Principles of Myopia Management, and BCLA Fellowship status (FBCLA). He works as Professional Affairs Consultant at CooperVision

Yes at East Midlands Conference Centre there is complimentary parking, electric vehicle charging points and convenient rail & tram links.

Are you willing to be a Facilitator?

If you would be interested to support the session with facilitating please let us know. Facilitating does not involve teaching, but rather guiding the conversations to ensure the learning outcomes are achieved. Full training will be provided for those wishing to add facilitation to their repertoire!

How much are tickets?

Ticket prices are:
• Optometrists: £100 (including IP Optometrists)
• Dispensing Opticians: £50 (including CLOs)
