Hawrami

Alan Hawrami is a director of 2 practices (Osborne Harle and Kent Eyecare) and a specialist optometrist that currently works in community ophthalmology clinics on a daily basis, autonomously managing complex clinical cases and glaucoma management. He has a special interest in acute ocular conditions and glaucoma. After graduating from City University, Alan has attained the Diploma in Therapeutics, Diploma in Glaucoma, Medical Retina 1 and 2 and a Masters in Advanced Clinical Optometry and Ophthalmology. Alan is currently enrolled in the Doctor in Optometry programme at Aston University. Alan’s previous work includes almost a decade’s worth of experience in eye casualty, and numerous years working in Vitreoretinal, Oculoplastics, Diabetic Retinopathy and Glaucoma clinics within the hospital eye service. He is a published author and has also presented research internationally
